Almost halfway there!

 Thank you to all who have supported us so far! We are almost halfway to our goal, and we are just amazed at what God is doing through each of you. Please know that every amount that has been sent has caused Sean and I to pause. We are not only overwhelmed by your generosity, but we are so blessed to have you in our life and supporting us in this endeavor. God has been so good to us and we are confident He will continue to reveal himself through all of the ups and downs of this journey. If you would still like to give, you still have time! We will continue until our goal is reached. Thank you to all who have given and to all who are praying and sending us support and love along the way.

We submitted our USCIS immigration papers in mid-November. These take 2-4 months to get approved. The good thing is that in this time we are finishing up our dossier which is our family packet that gets sent to Colombia. So, at this point it is looking like we’ll have everything sent around the beginning of February or March, sooner hopefully.

Please continue to pray for the child or children that will be coming into our home. It’s beautiful to me that God already knows what our family is going to look like. Please also pray for as little government red tape to get in our way as possible and that things will move quickly. Praise God with us that we are halfway to our goal! And please continue to pray that God will provide the rest.

 WOW! We reached our whopping goal of $40,000 in just under two months! We are floored and in awe of the generosity of all of you—thank you to every person who contributed! If you didn’t contribute and would still like to, we would still love your support. This number was an estimate of adoption costs, and we would love continued help in the upcoming years as we await being matched, travelling to Colombia, and coming home with our child(ren). We are so grateful for your generous gifts, but we’ve also loved hearing adoption stories and receiving your letters of encouragement as we go through this grueling process.
